just a thought

There’s a great quote in Mitch Albom’s The Five People You Meet in Heaven: “Love, Like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must be nourished from below, tending to its roots, and keeping itself alive.” The chapter ends, “…Eddie admitted that some of his life he’d spent hiding from God, and the rest of the time he thought he went unnoticed.”

I think this really means that God can only do so much, and that sometimes God will shine his light upon someone and the answer is clear, that is love. There are also people who may be afraid to search for that light, too.
